CHARACTER INFORMATION
Character Name: Vampire Cookie
Age: No canonical age given (and cookie lifespans are pretty up in the air PLUS actual vampire so Who Knows) but appearance wise, mid-20s or so. (Let's say 26, because Sparkling went with 25 and Vampire was released a year earlier.)

Personality:
The first impression that Vampire Cookie gives most people is that he's lazy as all get out. This is, admittedly, not at all incorrect. If it takes effort, he doesn't wanna do it. If napping or getting drunk is more fun, why even bother? However, it still might be slightly more accurate to say that he's simply on the extreme far end of relaxed and chill. He's the kind of cookie who's determined to spend as much of his life as possible enjoying himself, and, well, his biggest hobbies just happen to be...
...napping and getting drunk.
Some of that may simply be his baked-in nature. His dough is known to be a whopping 10% "strong fermented grape juice," so tipsy is likely his default state. And then he goes past tipsy because, well, he loves grape juice and there's a really great bar in the kingdom, why not! He's almost never seen without a glass of the stuff in hand, often even carrying said glass along with him while in jelly bat form. He's also notorious for being able to sleep anywhere at any time - though how much of that is intentional and how much is him passing out is anyone's guess - and cookies have learned to watch where they step lest they trip over him. Heck, he wouldn't even have ever escaped the Oven where cookies are first baked if his sister hadn't dragged him out with her, and you can still sometimes hear him comment on how nice and warm it was in there.
In spite of what looks like a hedonistic lifestyle at first glance, however, Vampire is not at all selfish. Sure, he doesn't really get it when other people get all stressed and worked up, and he'll whine about it sometimes, but his first instinct to seeing a friend overworked or worried is to encourage them to pull up a chair, relax, and let him pour them a drink. And he does have friends, even if by "friends" he mostly means "the other regulars at the bar who put up with me." Even just that much means a lot to him, as he is vaguely aware of how he comes off. Sometimes. It's notable that in one of his side stories, his first thought upon finding what he thought was a super delicious new juice drink that had been left for him was to bring some of it to Sparkling Cookie, the owner of said bar that he haunts.
He has a mischievous and impulsive streak as well, often brought out by others. Vampire has a little sister, Alchemist Cookie, and the two are polar opposites - where Vampire is relaxed and lazy, Alchemist is an extremely driven hard worker who throws herself into learning the secrets of alchemy. Naturally, she ends up being the one to constantly nag Vampire and get frustrated when he gets into her stuff or doesn't pick up after himself. So, once, Vampire tried to give her a taste of her own medicine by acting like her. It sort of backfired, with Alchemist only becoming extremely worried over her brother's apparent sudden personality change, and giving him a potion to make him sleep and relax again. ...Vampire called that one an unexpectedly good result, because he will never complain about someone wanting him to take it easy. There was also a time when he all but pounced on a new face at the bar, rambling away drunkenly just to stir up an easily flustered cookie. Hey, he got a new regular/friend out of it! He's also been known to just drink mystery liquids with absolutely zero forethought, despite having an alchemist who is constantly brewing new potions for a sister. Remember the "new juice drink" previously mentioned? Yeeeeeeeeeeah. Obviously Vampire is not the hyperactive crazy wild chaos child flavor of impulsive person, but if he gets an idea in his head to do a thing and actually feels like doing it, by god he is going to do it without putting it through ANY sort of logic check.
All of these traits do add up to someone who finds it hard to navigate life without others creating structure for him, however. Alchemist Cookie nags and nudges him into taking care of necessary things at home, Sparkling cuts him off when he's had enough to drink, someone or other walks him home when he can barely stand. Without familiar or at least friendly faces, he'd feel very much stranded and may struggle to take care of himself. Especially given his tendency to go after anything brightly colored and liquid when he's thirsty enough... look, nothing here is saying he's the sharpest cookie in the tin, okay. He's the kind of guy who does absolutely everything with 100% of his heart and 0% of his brain. "Oh, a himbo," you might be thinking, but no, a himbo would at least be trying on some level. Vampire does not want to have to try. Trying is hard. Effort is hard. When life makes him have to do a thing that takes effort and trying it's just the worst. (For something he considers extremely valuable, however? Like a good friend? Maybe he can be convinced to try.)
